Our local Head Start program truly gave me the "head start" I needed to propel my family into a brighter future! I am certain that my children continue to excel academically and socially each year because of the great foundation head start provided them. As a family we truly had an Amazing experience from the classroom learning opportunities to the huge family support and resources that were readily available to us. With the help and encouragement of the head start staff I set the goal to go back to college and I earned my Bachelor degree in Liberal Arts and Child and Family Studies all while working full time! I can truly say that I am a walking testimony of how great head start is and what a fmaily can achieve through the head start program. I say this more times than anything else EVERY child and family should attend Head Start! I promise HEAD START WORKS!!
