The Yazoo City and Fouche’ Centers celebrated the community multi-culture awareness unit theme by participating in a “My Community, My World” Parade at the Yazoo City Center. The eighteen units (2 at Fouche’ and 16 at Yazoo City) represented different professions, cultures, and countries around the world. Their colorful attire and costumes portrayed the U.S. President, the United States of America, the State of Hawaii, Native Americans, Africa, China, Italy, the Secret Service, Chefs, Police Officers, lawyers, firemen, and doctors.
Head Start parents and community people enjoyed the parade and delighted in the costumes worn by the children, staff and parent volunteers as depicted in the picture below.
