The Mississippi Action for Progress, Inc. (MAP, Inc.) Abstinence Education Program was afforded the opportunity to rally with the Mississippi Department of Human Services for the purposes of spreading the awareness and importance of Abstinence. 
Students from various ages and counties throughout Mississippi gathered together for this momentous occasion. MAP, Inc. ushered a modest group of thirty (30) young persons to take part in the event.
Reinforcing the message that: abstaining from sexual activity until marriage is the only certain way to avoid out-of-wedlock pregnancy and other associated health problems set the mood for the rally. Several speakers delivered messages that were powerful and uplifting; adding to the afternoon tone. As the music played, the balloons were released as a sign of the commitment – It was a success!
