    The Human Resources Department serves as a liaison for all programs and services at Missisippi Action for Progress, Inc. The primary goal of the department is to provide expertise in the areas of employee relations, staffing, new employee orientation, and guidance in implementing the Agency's Personnel Policies and Procedures. Additionally, the department provides technical support to supervisory personnel through in-service training and the maintenance of personnel records. Providing assistance as it relates to federal equal opportunity laws, administration of employee benefits, unemployment compensation, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and human resource planning.
